BNDES Space

Inaugurated in 1985, the "Espaço BNDES" [BNDES Space] is already part of the cultural scene in the city of Rio de Janeiro. It offers free culture and entertainment to the population through the promotion of exhibits and concerts in its Art Gallery and Auditorium.

Gallery

From March to December, the "Espaço BNDES" presents exhibits in its gallery.

Obs.: At the moment, the space is closed due to an upcoming reform.

Thursdays at the BNDES

Weekly, from March to November, every Thursday, from 7pm to 8pm, popular, instrumental and erudite music and scenic art displays are presented, including circus, dance and/or theater acts that adapt to the one hour period of the presentation and the stage dimensions.

The tickets, with marked seats, are distributed in the day of the event, in the ground floor, starting at 6 pm.

Film

The BNDES supports the domestic film industry through the Audiovisual Law (Law no. 8,685, of July 20, 1993).

As it acts in the promotion of development in Brazil, the BNDES also concerns itself with its cultural nature. For the BNDES, investing in culture is fundamental for the development concept as a whole because art and culture leverage social advancement and contribute towards the preservation and valuing of the national identity.
