Supplier's credit
Refinancing for acquisition of eligible
goods for BNDES support and/or services, through the discount of instruments of credit (promissory notes or bills of exchange) or the assignment of the letters of credit related to exports, according to the criteria of the BNDES and following international standards.
Buyer's credit
Financing for importers for acquisition of goods indicated in the
list of eligible goods for BNDES support and/or services provided by Brazilian exporters.
Clients
Export companies of any size, established under the Brazilian laws, including trading company or commercial exporting company.
Eligible items for support
Goods and/or services - See list of goods eligible for BNDES support.
Share Level
Up to 100% of the export value, in any INCOTERM.
Interest Rate
Financial Cost + BNDES spread + cost of the guarantee
Financial Cost
LIBOR corresponding to the tenor.
BNDES Spread
Established on a case-by-case basis.
Other Charges
Established in accordance with the transaction's characteristics.
For Buyer's credit, Management Fee (of the mandatory bank) of up to 1 flat % over the discounted value, and Commitment Fee of up to 0.5% per year.
Maturity
Up to 12 years.
Collaterals and Insurance
The instruments of credit (Promissory Notes and Bills of Exchange) shall be guaranteed by a foreign bank or by Export Credit Insurance, that enables the coverage of commercial, political and extraordinary risks involved - in Brazil, this instrument is operated by private insurance companies in the short run and by the Federal Government in the long run.
Addressing
For indirect automatic operations, the request must be submitted to the
accredited financial institution.
For direct, non-automatic indirect and mixed support operations, support requests shall be forwarded to BNDES by means of an Application Letter- to be completed following the instructions in the Information
Guideline for Prior Consultation - to be sent by the interested company, or through the preferred accredited financial institution, to:
