Purpose
Finance the acquisition and production of computer and automation equipment, software and goods requiring financing conditions compatible to those offered by foreign similar at international competition. Also subject to financing are the services linked to installation and trading of the above-mentioned
items.
Financeable Items
Acquisition and/or production, also separately, of new machinery and equipment, including industrial groups and systems, produced in Brazil and accredited by BNDES,
which:
- present nationalization indexes, in value, equal or over 60% (sixty per cent), computed under the Standards and Instructions to Calculate Nationalization Indexes;
or;
- in case of computer and automation goods, fulfilling the Basic Productive Process [PPB] and present documents to the Ministry of Science and Technology [MCT] - confirming that the product has domestic technology, under the Directive no. 214, of 12.09.1994, or other replacing it.
The below identified listed items, when linked to the trading of machinery and equipment included in the items above and mentioned in the financing proposal for foreign similar:
- Investments directly associated to machinery and equipment installation and
assembly;
- Expenses with engineering, recovery and modernization
services;
- Pre-operating expenses; and
- Expenditures with personnel training, limited to 10% (ten per cent) on the financeable amounts, provided that they have defined objectives and deadlines.
A maximum percentage will be determined, in the analysis phase of the operation, on the financing amount to be destined to investments in the item above, which may not be higher than 100% of the equipment
value.
Acquisition of software and related services, following the standards set up in the
Program for the Development of the National Software and Related Services Industry [PROSOFT] Commercialization, which today are the
following:
- The software should be accredited in the electronic
address;
- The related services are:
. software installation;
. advisory, on the product and product/company adequacy;
. implementation, including the treatment of data already existing in the company, known as
legacy;
. training of users to use the software;
. installation of other software needed to the operation of the underlying software (database, for
instance);
. installation of equipment needed to the operation of the underlying software (for example, servers, stations, hubs, switches and
routers).
- Are not subject to financing the supporting services (to using), maintenance (alterations due to defect, or change in the law) and, eventually, updating of
versions.
- The amount financed of related services will be limited to 100% (one hundred per cent) of the software value associated to it.
Note: It will be subject to financing the investments which financeable amount is in the minimum R$ 3,000,000.00 (three million Brazilian reais).

Up to 3.57% p.a. (according to the beneficiary's risk).

Note: Micro, small and medium enterprises' operations will be exempt of the financial intermediation rate.
Share Level
Up to 80%.
Total Term Period
Up to 12 years.
In case of support to Equipment Manufacturers: up to 18
months.
