· Total value of credits is R$ 51.1 million
· Companies have to fulfill production and sales targets 

The board of Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES) approved six new financings under the ambit of the Support Program for the Strengthening of the Employment and Income Generation Capacity [Progeren]. In the total amount of R$ 51.1 million, the operations will allow for the creation of 497 direct jobs. 

The projects approved refer to the companies Borrachas Vipal S/A (R$ 16.7 million - 160 jobs), Agroceres Nutrição Animal Ltda. (R$ 13,5 million - 86 jobs), Sinimplast Indústria e Comércio Ltda. (R$ 8 million - 40 jobs), Comil Carrocerias e Ônibus Ltda. (R$ 7 million - 110 jobs), Sacoplast - Sacos Plásticos do Nordeste S/A (R$ 4.9 million - 50 jobs) and J. R, Meneguzzo Indústria do Vestuário Ltda. (R$ 1 million - 31 jobs).

The companies - Borrachas Vipal S/A is located in Nova Prata, at the mountain region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. It produces and sells a full line of products to meet the tire restoration market. Under expansion, the company, which already has subsidiaries in the United States, Chile, Argentina and Panama, is also opening an affiliate in Mexico.

Agroceres Nutrição Animal Ltda. is a subsidiary of Agroceres Group, one of the main agribusiness corporations in the Country, leader in the market of swine products. The company's capital is fully domestic, under control of the holding company Monebel Empreendimentos e Participações Ltda., and is located in Rio Claro, State of São Paulo. 

As to the company Sinimplast Indústria e Comércio Ltda., also of fully domestic capital, located in Diadema (State of São Paulo - SP), it has other four plastic packaging plants. It is controlled by the holding company Outubro Participações Societárias Ltda. and has capacity to process 26 thousand tons of resin per year.

Located in Erechim, State of Rio Grande do Sul, the car manufacturer Comil Carrocerias e Ônibus Ltda. ranks fourth in the production of buses and microbuses in the Country. The company, of fully domestic capital, already has a subsidiary in Mexico, to assemble car bodies manufactured in Brazil, having started production last year at the City of San Luis Potosi. 

Sacoplast - Sacos Plásticos do Nordeste S/A, located in Parnamirim, a municipality of the State of Rio Grande do Norte, is one of the leading manufacturers of packages from high-resistance raphia fabrics. Controlled by Exitus, a holding company of the familiar group Tavares de Melo, the company produces bags from polypropylene fabrics and products for plastic culture. 

Located in Erexim, State of Rio Grande do Sul, J. R. Meneguzzo Indústria de Vestuário Ltda. was founded in 1956 as a familiar company directed to the segment of uniforms. Today, it operates several manufacturing brands of jeans, T-shirts, dresses, warming clothing, etc. 

Conditions - The financing agreements approved under the ambit of Progeren determine certain conditions to the companies, which have to fulfill targets in relation to the quantity of products sold and the volume of gross operating revenue, in addition to the creation of a determined number of direct jobs.

In case the companies fulfill all targets, they will pay BNDES annual interests of 3.5% over Long Term Interest Rate [TJLP], presently at 9.75% p.a. In case they fail, the interest rate over TJLP will increase to 9% p.a.
