» Projects in supported cities
• Cities located in supported microrregions rated as stagnated low income, dynamic low income, stagnated lower average income, dynamic lower income, stagnated upper average income, dynamic upper average income, as per PDR rating criteria, based on the Brazilian Policy of Regional Development (PNDR), implemented by the Ministry of Integration (MI);
• Northern and Northeastern cities (in SUDENE field of activity), rated as high income, according to the same criteria, which will have the same conditions as the microrregions supported rated as dynamic upper average income; and
• Lower income level cities belonging to the 49 urban agglomerates mapped by Projeto de Pesquisa Caracterização e Tendências da Rede Urbana do Brasil (Brazilian Characterization and Trends Project), prepared by IPEA, IBGE and NESUR (IE-UNICAMP), located around a high-income city.

Projects related to basic industrial inputs (except for inputs from agriculture, cattle-raising or forest exploration), trading and services, and electric power and telecommunication infrastructure.

Notes:
The list of sectors not covered by the PDR was amended to include new segments and updating of CNAE codes for the 2.0. version.
As for direct and non-automatic direct supports, such amendment also applies to operations under analysis not approved by BNDES.
As for automatic indirect support, the amendment applies to the operations filed in BNDES on 02.01.2008, for those contracted after the approval, and contracted on 02.01.2008, for those contracted before the approval.

Notes:
1) At BNDES’ sole discretion, direct operations with BNDES, equal or corresponding to R$ 1 m, are allowed, through FINEM.
2) This program covers expansion of production capacity, provided that these investments do not require shutdown of other production units of the beneficiary company.
» BNDES' Share
• According to the financial conditions applicable to each financing facility;
• 10% increase for projects in the North and Northeast (Sudene’s field of activity);
• 10% increase, on an accrual basis, on projects located in low and lower average income cities.
» Structuring Projects
Economic infrastructure projects and production activities located in microrregions supported, capable of providing economic conditions to attract other associated investments, located in its influence area.
