The BNDES finances private individuals that are residents of the country and that are included in the following cases:
 The rural producer,
only in operations executed through accredited financial
institutions.
The independent transporter of cargo,
for the acquisition of new truck chassis/motorcars, only through operations executed through accredited financial
institutions.
An individual who performs school transportation
activity, for the acquisition of school transportation vehicle, only in operations carried out through accredited financial institutions.
The
micro-enterpreneur, formal or informal, through
Social Programas. In these Programs, the operations are
negotiated and contracted through micro-credit
institutions, such as Non-Governmental Organizations -
NGOs, Credit Societies for Micro-enterpreneurs - SCM or
Civil Society Organization for Public Interest - OSCIP,
that are responsible for distributing the resources or
offering credit to private individuals.
