25 - The Portal da Misericórdia

The Portal consists of a group ob buildings made up by the Church and Santa Casa da Misericórdia and adjoining
buildings, on the Rua da Misericórdia, belonging to the Santa Casa. The church and the Santa Casa were constructed in the 17th and 18th centuries and historically registered by Iphan in 1938. The archives of the institution are considered some of the most important in the state of Bahia. |

| The group of buildings were constructed between 1858 and 1868, by the engineer Teodoro de Oliveira, on the orders of the finance minister Joaquim Rodrigues Torres
(Viscount of Itaboraí), to be the Currency House
(Treasury). Today the monument houses the National
Archives. The principal building, located facing the Praça da República, is of the neo-classical
style. It was historically registered by Iphan in 1938. |

27 - Restoration of the Home of the Count of
Arcos

| The monument was constructed in 1781 it name is connected to the 8th Count of Arcos, D. Marcos de Noronha e Brito, last Vice-king of Brazil (1806-1808), and was used as his
home. This two-story building, with an entranceway in the "pombalino"
style. (refers to the Marquis do Pombal), represents a transition between the traditional urban residence and the new single-level house in Bahia. It was historically registered by Iphan in 1938 and is now the property of the Second of July
foundation. |

28 - N. Sra. da Saúde

| Constructed in the 18th
century, before the urbanization process of the Saúde port
region,
has its exterior in the baroque style. The interior presents painted ceramic tiles from the second half of the 18th
century, probably fabricated in Lisbon, making up panels that decorate the nave and the
chapel. The church was historically registered by Iphan in 1938. |

29 - The Serra da Capivara National

| The Serra da Capivara National Park was registered as a World Heritage Site by Unesco for the richness of the cave engravings and
paintings. It is classified as one of the largest archeological site in the
world, with 535 cataloged sites and historically registered by
Iphan. The park has a research, visitor archeological maintenance
infrastructure, with a total of 63 sites prepared for visits by the
public. |

30 - Sacristry Ceiling of S. Antônio

| The church and convent of Santo Antônio, belonging to the Franciscan Order was constructed in the period from 1608 to 1628. The
sacristy, dating from 1714 acclaimed as the most beautiful in Rio de Janeiro, has painting on its
ceiling, five large and 12 small, that tell of the life of Santo Antônio. Among the famous Franciscans who have lived in the monastery was Frei Vicente do
Salvadro, author of the first history of Brazil, in 1627. |
