Trade and Services
As all economic activities in the country, trade and services are going through an intense modernization process in the attempt to provide quality goods and services and competitive prices.

Trade, a key factor in the productive chain that links manufacturing to consumption, has been incorporating significant advances in management and logistics. Large distribution systems are investing on distribution centers and customer service stores, especially on information technology and personnel training aspects.

The demand for tourism services, which involve an extensive chain of relationships, has been contributing to its modernization. The flows of internal and foreign tourists are increasing. Significant investments are being executed by important international hotel chains.

However, the trade and services that play an important role in the generation of jobs are being pulverized and are predominantly constituted by micro, small and medium enterprises.

BNDES is aware of this reality and offers financing support lines applicable to companies of any scale that operate in these activities. The objective is to stimulate, structure and follow-up the development of projects related to trade and service sectors, as well as to develop institutional actions to establish partnerships and articulations with other entities private and public bodies.
