Support to public transport projects, comprising all investments necessary to qualification of the urban space around the endeavor. Such support may be made as a specific operation, or as one of the components of
Urban Multisectorial Integrated Projects
[PMI], with the purposes of:
Economic rationalization, with reduction of total costs of the system;
Priority of endeavors with higher capacity and less operating cost;
Preference for collective over individual transport;
Tariff and physical integration, with reduction of costs and time for users;
Universal accessibility, also for users with special needs, pedestrians and cyclists;
Use of more proper technologies, looking for better conditions of comfort and safety;
Improvement in the system management and inspection, by strengthening regulations and reducing informality;
Reduction of sound and air pollution levels, of energy consumption and traffic jams; and
Urban revaluation of areas around the projects.

. Up to 80% for projects in other cities
