Disbursements per company size


Disbursements to MSMEs and individuals increased 9% in 2011, totaling R$ 49.8 billion. This amount corresponded to 35.9% of the BNDES’ total allocated amounts over the year. Of the Bank’s approximately 896,000 financing operations in 2011, some 94% was allocated to MSMEs. Access to credit, however, was increased.

Disbursement chart per by company size, from 2008 to 2011, in billions of Brazilian Reais. 2008: 21.8 billion for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME) and 69 billion for large companies. 2009: 23.9 billion for MSME and 112.4 billion for large companies. 2010: 45.7 billion for MSME and 122.8 billion for large companies. 2011: 49.8 billion for MSME and 89.1 billion for large companies.
