BNDES’ disbursements grow 39% and accumulate R$ 21.1 billion in two months
Disbursements from the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) reached R$ 21.2 billion in the first two months of 2013, an increase of 39% if compared to the same period last year. The main highlights were the increase in releases for machinery and equipment and the large disbursement from the BNDES to micro, small and medium-sized companies.

The Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES), the state of Rio de Janeiro and the Acre Institute for Climate Change and Regulation of Environmental Services (IMC) signed a technical cooperation agreement aimed at stimulating the development of a market for environmental assets in Brazil.

Amazon Fund has 36 approved projects in the total amount of R$ 440 million

BNDES provides R$ 69 MM in financing for new paint factory in RJ
The BNDES has approved R$ 69 million in financing for Jotun Brasil Importação Exportação e Indústria de Tintas. With these resources, the company will set up an industrial plant in Itaboraí (RJ), located 45 km from Rio de Janeiro capital, with the capacity to produce 10 million liters per year of solvent-based paint.
