Compliance

Inserted in one of the most regulated sectors of the economy, BNDES has the challenge of keeping in line with the obligations of the various control and management institutions.

BNDES, as a federal public company, is subject to the supervision of the External Control Units of Brazilian government, with emphasis on the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU) and the Ministry of Transparency, Inspection and Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), as well as to the supervision of the Brazilian Central Bank.

Practices regarding the management of internal and external standards and agreements signed by the Bank are formalized in our Compliance Program.
