Finame’s Advisory Board

Main responsibilities:

Among its main responsibilities, the following stand out:

  1. Approve, as proposed by the Executive Board, Finame’s plans and programs, establishing the general lines of its business;
  2. Provide opinions on annual and pluriannual investment and administrative budgets;
  3. Provide council to the Executive Board to establish policies to be adopted and define sectorial priorities;
  4. Provide opinions on Finame’s Annual Performance Report, financial statements for the year and proposals to allocate earnings, approve annual audit reports and information on the results of Finame’s efforts and on the main projects it supports;
  5. Provide council to the BNDES concerning Finame’s general guidelines;
  6. Provide opinions on subjects of Finame’s interest submitted either by the Executive Board or the BNDES.

Finame’s Fiscal Council

Main responsibilities:

The Fiscal Council is in charge of examining and providing opinions on balance sheets and financial statements, as well as on the accounts rendered by Finame’s Board, besides exercising other responsibilities as set forth in Act Nº. 6,404, of December 15, 1976.

Finame’s Executive Board

Main responsibilities:

It is up to the Executive Board is to exercise all powers in the general administration and executive management of Finame, as well as:

  1. Establishing general application programs and plans related to Finame’s efforts;
  2. Establishing criteria to apply Finame’s resources, including defining priority scales;
  3. Preparing both annual and pluriannual investment and administrative budgets, including costs, to be approved by the Advisory Board;
  4. Approving general operating standards;
  5. Approving Finame’s bylaws, defining its administrative structure, the responsibilities of its entities and possible delegation of said responsibilities;
  6. Deliberating on financial support operations;
  7. Preparing Finame’s Annual Performance Report, financial statements for the year, and proposals to allocate earnings to be approved by the Advisory Board and the Fiscal Council;
  8. Authorizing the acquisition, divestment and guarantee of property and real estate;
  9. Authorizing agreements, contracts and covenants that constitute onuses, obligations or commitments for Finame or that are required for its operations.
